Colorado Snowstorm
Well, as many of you have probably heard, Colorado got clobbered with a huge winter storm yesterday. According to the National Weather Service we’ve had about 23 inches of snow fall here in Fort Collins in the last 24 hours. It’s cleared up for the moment, but the streets in our neighborhood are pretty much impassable (unless you have a snowmobile like the folks down the street!). We were supposed to fly to Ohio this morning, but DIA shutdown yesterday morning and is scheduled to be closed until midday on Friday. After some late night amateur travel agent work, we have been able to put together some tickets that should get us to Ohio on Christmas Eve. So until then, we are hanging out, visiting with our neighbors, and enjoying the free time. (Tex is enjoying the snow, too, and even got a chance to play with his girlfriend down the street for a while this afternoon).

See, I’ve told you this would happen… Now you guys are all stuck inside your house with two dogs barking at you, cars are practically frozen and you would have to scrape your windshield and remove snow once you drive outside, and there are dangerous drivers out there who don’t know how to drive safely in snowy weather.
Heavy snow should be illegal in Front Range area. Snow is for ski resort only!
