Christmas
For Christmas, we all went to the Christmas Eve church service and then drove around to look at the Christmas lights and decorations near our neighborhood. Andrew put out his cookies on the special dish. On Christmas morning, everyone had a fun time unwrapping presents and then playing with them. The Kramer family joined us for dinner and Jennifer shared a special birthday cake for Jesus with all the kids.

Gamma and Grandpa
Between Christmas and New Years, Grandpa Frank and Gamma Margaret came out to visit. Uncle Brad came up for part of the time, too. Here are some pictures of the kids playing with grandpa. See if you can find the hat in every picture. =)

School Field Trip
To close out the school semester before Christmas, Andrew’s class took a field trip to the Fort Collins Nursery where they learned all about trees and made a special wreath decoration.

Harmony School Christmas Program
Andrew got to be one of the singing little lambs in the Harmony School Christmas program. He practiced for many weeks to get all of his songs down, although it was hard to remember to sing on stage with fun dressed up bigger kids all around.

Christmas Tree
Everyone got involved in the elaborate process of bringing home the tree, getting it set up, and decorating it. Dave learned that it is helpful to measure the size of the tree trunk before you bring it home so that you don’t find it is one inch larger than your Christmas tree stand. It all worked out in the end.
