Baby Birds
Towards the end of June, we had a trio of baby birds take up residence in one of the hanging plants on our front porch (it’s a little hard to see in the pictures but that is the nest with the birds inside our plant). Andrew was fascinated with them and every evening we would go look at the bird while we were watering the plants. Then after a couple of weeks one of the birds climbed up on the edge of the nest. About a week after that they were all finally big enough and they started fly away out into the trees around our house. Andrew still likes to go look at the nest and talk about the birds when we are out watering plants.

Eva’s Birthday Party
Our friends Matt and Maribel had their youngest Eva turn 1 in June. We had a little celebration at the neighborhood park and Andrew got to run around and play with his friends there, too.
