Ice Cream with the Smiths
To celebrate Andrew’s 18 month birthday, we all went out to Coldstone. Andrew wanted to make sure his buddy Tanner came along. Here’s some pictures of everyone packed into the minivan and of Andrew and the whole gang enjoying their ice cream selections.

At Lowes
Our faithful lawn mower of many many years finally died this summer (at least it began having enough engine trouble that I was out of my league trying to repair it). After much research, Andrew helped us go get a new one. Here is a picture of him getting ready for the Lowe’s adventure.
Pooch Plunge
August 20 marked the third annual City Park Pool Pooch Plunge for Tex. He had a great time running and jumping into the water and swimming around to fetch his yellow donut. Andrew enjoyed watching all the dogs and playing with Tex, too.
At the Collindale pool
Shelley and Andrew liked invite other to use their guest passes for the Collindale pool. Here is a day when Melissa and Isaiah came along for a swim.
Going away party for Dove and Holly
Our friends Dove and Holly were moving down to El Paso, Texas to help out with a church down there. To send them off, we had a big party with lots of food, family, and friends. There was even a cake in the shape of Texas curtesey of the Sunflower Bakery. Andrew had a lot of fun running around and playing with the other kids.
