Andrew on the couch
Now that his legs have gotten a little longer and his arms are a little stronger, Andrew loves climbing up on the leather couches. Some mornings he will walk over and find his ‘My Little People Farm’ book, set it on the couch, climb up into the corner, and start flipping through the pages in his book.
Jayson helping with the garage sale
In July, Shelley was involved in organizing a big garage sale at church to help raise money for some of our friends that are adopting a child from Russia. There was lots of work to be done in the week before the event. Here is Jayson helping out (I think) by collecting together a bunch of plastic bags to use at the sale.
At the fountains
At the end of last summer the city of Fort Collins built a new outdoor plaza in Old Town complete with ‘interactive water features’, which means water shoots up out of the ground at various places at random times and lands on these large granite sculptures. Andrew enjoys going there in his swimsuit and playing with the fountains. Here is him on two different visits, once with Lincoln and Conner and once with cousin Jayson.
Fixing the Train
One of Andrew’s favorite toys is a talking Fisher-Price train set that we bought from our neighbors at a garage sale. Unfortunately Toots the Train suffered some engine failure early in July. Here are Andrew and Dave attempting to make some repairs. (In the end, repairs were unsuccessful, but fortunately a new Toots engine was only an eBay click away).
