Colorado Snowstorm
Well, as many of you have probably heard, Colorado got clobbered with a huge winter storm yesterday. According to the National Weather Service we’ve had about 23 inches of snow fall here in Fort Collins in the last 24 hours. It’s cleared up for the moment, but the streets in our neighborhood are pretty much impassable (unless you have a snowmobile like the folks down the street!). We were supposed to fly to Ohio this morning, but DIA shutdown yesterday morning and is scheduled to be closed until midday on Friday. After some late night amateur travel agent work, we have been able to put together some tickets that should get us to Ohio on Christmas Eve. So until then, we are hanging out, visiting with our neighbors, and enjoying the free time. (Tex is enjoying the snow, too, and even got a chance to play with his girlfriend down the street for a while this afternoon).
Kramar/Deakins Pre-Christmas
On Monday, we celebrated a pre-Christmas dinner with the Kramars and Deakins here in Fort Collins.
Andrew and Tex
Tex always enjoys the opportunity to help clean up Andrew and his high-chair after meals.
Church Group Christmas Party
Shelley and Dave tried hard to win the tacky sweater award at the small group Christmas party, but there was stiff competition.
Andrew’s 1st Haircut
In early December we took Andrew to get his first haircut at Cool Cuts 4 Kids. Andrew was so enthralled by the red racecar he got to sit in while they cut his hair that I’m not sure he even noticed what they were doing.
