The wonderful world of solid food
This last Thursday Andrew got his first meal of something other than milk. Although the organic rice cereal didn’t look that appetizing to Dave and Shelley, Andrew seemed to think it was pretty tasty. He is still trying to learn, though, that it is hard to put a spoon in your mouth and your thumb in your mouth at the same time…

Dog days of August
Also last Saturday, we all took Tex to Mile High in Denver to watch the Colorado Rapids soccer team. It was their ‘Dog Days of August’ night and the canines got special treats. When Tex saw the kiddy pools full of dog food and beggin strips, Dave just about got dragged through the stands. It was a fun night for everybody and the Rapids pulled out a victory, too.

Childbirth Class Reunion
Last Saturday we had our reunion party with some of the couples from our childbirth prepartion class. Here is a picture of the graduates.

Teething Bites…
Andrew started teething during August and it was not very much fun for him. He learned that chewing on hard things sometimes helps though.
