Ultrasound Pictures
Well, I finally figured out all the technological innovations required to make JPEGs from the DVD recording they made from our ultrasound appointment. So here are the first pictures of our soon-to-be-arriving baby boy!
It’s a Boy!
Well, we were finally able to get in for our ultrasound appointment today and after much measuring and analyzing the ultrasound lady showed us that we are expecting a brand-new baby boy this March!

Our neighborhood is filled with lots of kids so Halloween is a busy night of giving out lots of candy. Tex was a much better helper this year and would run to the door in his pumpkin costume to greet each group of kids.
Our nephew Jayson and niece Taylor live one neighborhood over and they came by to visit in their costumes, too!
Ultrasound Postponed!
Shelley and I were supposed to go in for the baby ultrasound on Monday and we were very excited to find out whether we were having a boy or a girl. But about 4 hours before our appointment, they called to say that the ultrasound tech was out sick today so we would have to reschedule. So sad… We will try again this Thursday!

Sunday evening we spent some time carving our pumpkins for Halloween. There was an efficient division of labor: Shelley scooped the guts out (which Dave doesn’t like doing) and Dave carved the design (which Shelley doesn’t like doing as much).
